Other Livingston County Museums and Historical Societies
While the Livingston County Historical Society maintains and preserves many historical sites, there are several other local history museums and historical societies in our area.
Chenoa Historical Society Museum
Open 1-3 pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The museum does not have an active web site. For more information, call 815-945-5163.
Cornell – Amity Township Museum
The museum is open to the public the first Sunday of each month. This museum does not have an active web site. For more information, call 815-358-2973.
Cullom Historical Society
Cullom formed their Historical Society in 2015. The Cullom Historical Society does not maintain their own web site. They do maintain a Facebook page titled "Cullom Historical Society."
Dwight Historical Society
Dwight has their own Historical Society and their primary facility and museum is the historic Chicago & Alton Railroad Depot in downtown Dwight.
Fairbury Echoes Museum
The museum is open to the public March to December on Thursdays and Fridays from 1-4:00 pm and Saturdays from 9-11:00 am. In January, the museum is open on Saturdays only. Call 815-692-2191. This museum maintains an active web site and you can visit their web site using this link.
Forrest Historical Society
Forrest Historical Society in Forrest, Illinois does not have its own dedicated, standalone website, but local information and community organization listings are hosted through the Village of Forrest Official Website.
