The Livingston County Poor Farm was eventually turned into a nursing home. The nursing home was torn down a few years ago. Someone donated some records from the Poor Farm including the original patient Register Book.

The Register includes a lot of data about each person who spent time at the Poor Farm.

We have not had time to digitize these records. The original old book is in the archives of the Historical Society.

If you want us to check and see if a person is included in the Poor Farm records, send us an email with all the info you have about the person. Using this info, we will consult the record book and see if they are listed or not.
