For more than 20 years, Mary Beatrice Runyon Hanshew managed and maintained this web site with a lot of very good Chatsworth history information.

Unfortunately, she passed away on Sept. 17, 2019. Apparently nobody continued to manage her web site, because it is no longer available. You can use this link to see her obituary.

There is a website called Archive.Org, which is a huge non-profit group. One of the things they do is make copies of web sites clear back to when the Internet started circa 1994. This service is often called "The Wayback Machine".

This web site made copies of her website periodically and these copies can be viewed today.

You can use this link to access one of the later copies of her website.

It might take a few seconds for her website to load since it is coming from the storage of Archive.Org.  Most of the links on her website appear to still work as of December 2025.
